Pupils get a lesson in road safety
SCHOOL children have been shown hard hitting video clips of road accidents by fire fighters to warn of the importance of road safety.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue visited Beamont Collegiate Academy, on Long Lane, to give a presentation on the consequences for drivers, victims and families.
It was organised by the Prison Me No Way Trust with children also spending a day like the life of a prisoner.
They were isolated from friends, participating in exercise and meal routines and escorted from workshop to workshop.
