EIGHT pubs in Stockton Heath have been praised for their high standards of conduct and customer care.
Venues received a new ArcAngel award, recognising their work to uphold high standards of customer care and provide a safe and welcoming environment.
Staff from Cape, The Mulberry Tree, The Red Lion, The London Bridge, Saracens Head, A La Turka, Le Bistrot Pierre and Tom at 101 picked up awards at a ceremony at the Town Hall from Mayor of Warrington, Clr Mike Biggin.
Clr Mike Hannon, deputy leader of the council, who is a member of the ArcAngel committee, said: “Congratulations to all those receiving an award for their hard work. We look forward to many more pubs getting involved in the initiative in the future.”
The pubs have also signed up to a voluntary code of conduct and encourage other establishments to join the scheme.
