Book exchange service at St Margaret's Community Hub

BOOK worms in Latchford and Westy can get their reading glasses on thanks to a new book exchange service.

St Margaret’s Community Hub, on Lindley Avenue, is the new base for the exchange which aims to bring books closer to home for residents following the closure of the mobile library service.

Clr Steve Wright said: “We have had lots of books donated and we have started lending them. We have 25 members and are looking to increase this number. Books will be available most mornings during cafe opening times and membership is free.

“So feel free to drop in and browse. We would also appreciate donations of used books in a good condition.”
