GET your hamper packed for some fun in the park this weekend in Bewsey.

A picnic in the park event will be taking place at Bewsey Park this Saturday.

The fun kicks off at noon and among the attractions are raffles, a bouncy castle and even the chance to soak the councillor, which Bewsey and Whitecross councillor Bob Timmis has signed up for.

The fun runs until 3pm at the park.
