YOUNGSTERS are limbering up for a special showcase of dance.

Hayward Dance Academy students, who have lessons in Culcheth, are making their debut at The Brindley in Runcorn on Sunday.

Blues and jazz singer Makuini, who grew up in the Maori community, will also be making a special guest appearance.

She will be singing Tina Turner's James Bond theme Goldeneye.

The gala performance is in three parts and involves students aged between two and 18.

Act one is the ballet Sleeping Beauty, act two is a lively dance showcase and act three is ‘The Magical Garden’ involving the academy's youngest members as flowers, bees and butterflies.

Rachel Hayward, who set up the academy in 2000, said: "This will prove to be a diverse end of year production and an exciting experience for all involved."

The show is on Sunday at 3pm.

Tickets are available from thebrindley.org or the box office on 0151 9078360.
