POLICE say they are proactively patrolling Culcheth, Croft and Glazebury in marked and unmarked cars to crack down on burglaries.
It follows two burglaries in the area in August.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "With the dark nights drawing in, patrols will be increased."
Officers are also concentrating on reducing anti-social behaviour in Culcheth, Croft and Glazebury following a 'small increase' in incidents during the school holiday.
