A FACEBOOK campaign to find a Cavalier King Charles spaniel who went missing in Great Sankey has now reached more than 400 likes.
Friends and family of owner Warren Soens, of Payne Close, have not given up hope on finding pet Monty after he went missing 19 weeks ago on December 2.
The nine-year-old was not wearing a collar when he ‘vanished’ from under his owner’s nose after he turned around during a walk near Crosfields but he is microchipped and neutered.
His heartbroken family set up the page ‘Find Monty Missing/Stolen’ with many members volunteering to do a search of the area, walking miles and delivering posters door to door.
Friend Lyn James said: “Monty could now be anywhere or maybe somebody has kindly taken him in not knowing that he is already well loved and his family are missing him so much.”
