A PENKETH homeowner is calling on dog walkers to clear up after their pooches after noticing it has become a particular problem in recent months between the Sportmans Arms pub and Greystone Rec.
Mary Ross, who lives on Warrington Road, said she has cleaned dog mess up on a number of occasions and is calling for action.
The 62-year-old added: “It’s appalling people are just leaving it.
“We have seen a lot of it near where the lollipop ladies get children across the road.
“It’s disgusting and is now reaching epidemic levels.”
