CHURCHES and charities joined together to celebrate One World Week.
Churches Together in Padgate and Woolston put on a special roadshow event at The Church of the Resurrection and St Bridget in Cinnamon Brow last Wednesday inviting international charities along.
They were marking One World Week, a national event dedicated to publicising global justice and challenging inequality, discrimination and the degradation of the earth and its resources.
Mayor Clr Brian Axcell went along to find out more from the charities there, which included Water Aid, Action for Hope and Amnesty International.
