Charity cycle to raise funds for Dementia UK

THE activities coordinator for HC One Callands has taken part in virtual tour of the company's care homes to raise funds for Dementia UK.

Joe Ward clocked up the miles on an exercise bike on Monday, February 22, on the same day the care home on Callands Road held a fundraiser.

He said: "We are raising money for Dementia UK which is a charity that provides help and support for people with dementia and to those people caring for others with dementia.

"This is an amazing charity and is very close to our hearts as we know how difficult mentally and physically it is to care for people with dementia."
