HUNDREDS of pounds have been donated to two charities after punters raised their glasses at Burtonwood's first beer festival.
A total of £1,000 was handed to St Rocco's and The Steve Prescott Foundation and £150 was donated to the Warrington Rotary Club.
Organiser Andy Carr is already planning for next year's festival at Burtonwood Community Centre, which will take place on October 23 and 24.
He said: "We are definitely looking at making the next one bigger and better."
He also revealed that real ale pubs are to be installed in the bar.
