PLANS to extend a care home in Callands have been given the go ahead - despite some residents objecting to the proposal.
The visual impact of the development, noise and disturbance due to building work and loss of privacy to neighbouring properties were some of the concerns raised by residents.
But Woodleigh Care Home on Callands Road has been granted full planning permission to extend, remodel and refurbish the facilities following an amalgamation of services.
Some conditions have been set which includes the availability of 15 parking spaces for staff and visitors during the period of construction.
