BURTONWOOD'S first beer festival was hailed as a success as hundreds of people raised a glass all in the name of two worthy causes.
Although the final donation figures have yet to be confirmed, The Steve Prescott Foundation raffle raised more than £450 and the St Rocco's scratch cards brought in £200.
Organiser Andy Carr said: "It went really well after a lot of hard work.
"We have had loads of positive feedback on social media and in person from many people. It is hoped that it can now become an annual event."
