PUPILS went animal crackers when a petting zoo visited Burtonwood Primary School earlier this month.
From hedgehogs and snakes to ferrets and chinchillas, there certainly wasn't a shortage of animals and reptiles for the children to meet.
But Tango the North American Corn Snake was the hit of the day when the pupils were taught about the animal kingdom as part of science week.
