A CALLANDS children's centre was praised by Ofsted inspectors for its high level of support, wide range of activities and the strong quality of teaching.
Callands Link Club, which is run by Warrington Borough Council, was hailed as 'good' by inspectors following a visit on August 8.
In the report, it noted that children thoroughly enjoy their time at the club because they are well cared for and are kept safe at all times.
Children's learning and development are supported well by the staff as they offer a wide range of activities and play experiences that are planned around the interests of each child.
Partnerships with parents and carers were also flagged up as good.
The club missed out on the highest rating as staff do not always use the outdoor resources to fully maximise the children's learning experiences and concerns over the programme of professional development for staff.
