Clean up at Mary Ann Meadows
A CLEAN-UP of Mary Ann Meadows, in Westbrook, was launched after travellers set up camp on the land last week.
Residents reported that the piles of rubbish had been dumped on the area after the line of caravans left the playing field off Westbrook Way at around 8pm on Monday.
Clr Faisal Rashid (Whittle Hall – LAB) helped to organise the clean-up to return the area to its former state.
