MORE than £2,000 has been raised for Arthritis Research UK by a couple as part of their charity challenge.
Jack Chadwick, aged 25, and Rachel Harris, aged 26, have smashed their fundraising total of £2,000 after completing the gruelling London Marathon last month.
The couple, who crossed the finish line hand in hand with a time of six hours and seven minutes, are proud of their fundraising efforts.
Jack, of Golborne Road, Winwick, said: "It was hard. We did hit the famous wall at 18 miles but having each other helped us push ourselves to the finish.
"The atmosphere was just amazing and the support from the crowds also kept you going."
