A CASH boost of £20,000 has been awarded to the Peel Hall Conservation Group by the Peoples’ Health Trust.

The money will help the group to continue to encourage people to get involved in learning about the wildlife of the Peel Hall area and in helping to manage the John Parr Flower Meadow and the adjacent parish woodland.

Chairman Ste Dodd said: “We need willing helpers for future work on the woodland and meadow or just to come along and join in some of our wildlife identification events.

“You don’t need any previous experience, as we’ll have local experts on hand and all ages are welcome.”

Group membership is free.
