Blind exercise at Sir Thomas Boteler

PUPILS at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School experienced of life as a blind person at part of an awards course.

Year seven pupils at the Grammar School Lane school in Latchford met visitors from the Guide Dogs Association as part of their Archbishop of York Young Leaders Award.

Pupils took part in a braille workshop, played blind football, constructed their own collection boxes and listened to a talk about guide dogs.

The course inspired them to work on ways to raise money for the charity as part of the programme.
