MOTORISTS will face delays as they try to travel along a busy Bewsey road from Monday.
BT will be carrying out work close to the site of the new housing development off Folly Lane.
They plan to fit a concrete chamber in the footpath which means they will have to go into the road close to the traffic light junction with Longshaw Street.
There will be a give and take systems for motorists on the route which contractors expect to cause delays, particularly during peak travel hours.
The work is expected to last until Wednesday.
