PUPILS at Bewsey Lodge Primary School had the chance to find out more about the world of energy.
Energy company IGas paid a visit to the Lodge Lane school to talk about the importance of oil and gas in a variety of ways.
Children were put in teams to explore rock samples, watch IGas’ educational videos and answer quiz questions.
Teacher Melanie Kenworthy said: “The children had a great time learning about oil and gas. Getting to touch rock samples which were older than dinosaurs was great because it’s a way of learning the curriculum in a hands on environment.
“They learned about why we need energy, how we use it and where it comes from.”
