A CAMPAIGN group fighting development in Appleton Thorn will be hosting a fundraising night on Saturday.
Campaign Against Ruining our Environment (CARE) will be holding a 70s and 80s disco at Appleton Thorn Village Hall to help raise money for its fighting funds.
It follows an afternoon tea fundraiser which took place last week.
The group are fighting plans from Bloor Homes to build homes in the village which residents are strongly opposed to.
The disco starts at 8pm and a hotpot supper will be served.
Fancy dress is optional.
