BALANCING commitments is proving to be as crucial as ever for a Warrington Borough Council candidate from Appleton as election day edges closer.

Jonathan Levy, who is also a fundraiser for the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace and trustee of the Dyspraxia Foundation, is welcoming May 7 as he vies to be elected in his second year standing as Appleton's Conservative candidate.

But the 24-year-old knows better than anyone just what needs to be done to ensure each of his priorities blossom.

"It is difficult, and is a challenge at times, but I make a conscious effort to be organised," he said.

"I am into personal development and having a flexible employer also helps a lot."

With less than two months until judgement day, Jonathan is assuring residents he will do all he can to get their voice heard.

"People like being asked for their views and I like hearing them - that is what it is all about," he said.

"Last year was my first time standing here but it can take two years to establish yourself."

But even with the election campaign in full flow, Jonathan is still focusing on his other roles, including at the foundation, which is based at the Peace Centre in Great Sankey.

"The foundation is increasing its capabilities," he added.
