DISCOVER a burgeoning oasis of flora as an Appleton garden opens its doors for the first time.
Dingle Farm, on Dingle Lane, is taking part in the National Open Garden scheme and will be open to the public this Saturday and Sunday then again on the first two weekends in August.
The garden has been transformed from a disused garden field into a young garden with a pond as the central focal point.
There is also a tea room where you can pick up refreshments and an entrance fee to the garden will be donated to MacMillan Cancer Support, Alzheimer’s Society, The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Marie Curie, Carers Trust, The National Trust, Help the Hospices, Garden Museum and Perennial.
