WHITTLE Hall councillor Keith Gleave has encouraged residents in Chapelford to report youngsters attempting to damage trees in the newly-opened Dakota Park.

He said: “On the many occasions I have been there it is well used by both children and adults which is nice to see. “The only worrying thing that has been reported is children attempting to damage the trees.

“I have reported this to our local CSOs Scott Parkinson and Leanne Gover and I would encourage anyone who sees anything amiss to report it to the police on the 101 number.”
