TEAM NEWS: Morley and Grix dropped to the bench for Leeds clash
7:30pm Friday 8th June 2012 in News By Christopher Terris Taylor
Adrian Morley starts tonight's match against Leeds Rhinos on the bench
WOLVES boss Tony Smith has named captain Adrian Morley and second rower Simon Grix on the bench for the visit of Leed Rhinos to the Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick off 8pm.
Smith has made only one other change to the starting XIII that lost 23-22 at Craven Park last week, with Chris Bridge named inside of Joel Monaghan on the right wing.
Micky Higham replaces Grix at hooker and is moved back into the front row alongside Garreth Carvell and Chris Hill, who starts ahead of Morley after coming on as a substitute against Hull KR.
Prolific outside backs Ryan Atkins, Chris Riley and Joel Monaghan all retain their places in front of full back Brett Hodgson, while half back pairing Lee Briers and Gareth O’Brien maintain their partnership in the middle.
Ben Westwood, not named in the England squad to face the Exiles at Langtree Park next week because of an ‘injury’, starts alongside Trent Waterhouse in the second row.
Loose forward Ben Harrison is cleared to start despite sustaining a head injury against the Robins last Sunday.
Wolves will hope they can adapt to the wet conditions better than they did in Hull last week, where they let slip a 22-6 half time lead to lose 23-22 after a dire second-half performance.
