Runners raise £720 for Shannon Bradshaw Trust

FUNDRAISERS taking part in the Manchester 10k helped collect £720 for children’s charity The Shannon Bradshaw Trust.

And thanks to charity supporter Mandy King's company Gartner, the total was matched raising £1,440.

Cyclists Rob Leonard and Ric Moss also enjoyed a welcome home drink at the Saracens Head, Lymm after riding their bikes from Paris to Blackpool in aid of the charity.

It rounded off a great week for the Great Sankey charity after patron and former pop star Kerry Katona donated her £1,000 prize fund after winning a celebrity version of channel four programme Come Dine With Me.
