Stockton Heath designer picks up award

A DESIGNER beat hundreds of entries to pick up an award at the Ideal Home Show.
Nicola Griffiths, from Stockton Heath, won the runners up award in the wallpaper design of 2012 competition.
She runs The Design Project (NW) and met TV star Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen in the final, which saw five companies battle it out.
Her design was based on another passion in her life - cakes.
Nicola, who owns the business along with husband Geoff, said "Pardon the pun, but this has just been the icing on the cake really."
