High hopes for Miss England title
CULCHETH’S Holly Ikin has been crowned Miss Cheshire.
Model Holly will now go on to battle for the national title of Miss England in September.
The 23-year-old, who recently graduated in English and Linguistics, said: “I was really pleased to win the competition.
“I think I can win the next stage and I want to bring the crown home to Warrington.”
But Holly, who began modelling as a teenager, says the role of Miss Cheshire was about more than just modelling.
She said: “I’m going to be seeing so many children at the events. They do look up to you so if I can make a difference to even one of them then I’ve done some good.”
