JUDGES of a picture competition were swayed by the cheek and determination of two friends to turn Barcelona primrose and blue, starting with war paint on this statue in the heart of the city.

The competition to find the best fans’ picture from the trip to southern Spain, where Warrington Wolves played Catalans Dragons last month, attracted 176 entries, with all the submitted pictures available to view by clicking here.

Thanks to Visit Chester and Cheshire, lunch for four at a top Cheshire restaurant is the prize on its way to Adam Cliffe, who submitted the winning entry.
