Fundraiser for Ethan

ST James' Church in Great Sankey hosted a Weight Watchers fundraiser in aid of Ethan Connolly.

The event was organised by Weight Watchers groups from all over Warrington and raised £307.66 through a pamper party for 40 group members.

Michelle Garvin, the Great Sankey organiser, said: "Our members are also donating 10p for every pound they lose each week and are planning to do so for the rest of the year."

Ethan, aged three, from Well Lane in Penketh, has disfiguring facial tumours. His family are raising money to pay for operations to remove them.
