PAVEMENTS in Bewsey have been resurfaced after residents called on Warrington Borough Council to take action.
Residents had raised concerns about the paving around bungalows as some have mobility issues and have struggled with the uneven paths.
Troutbeck Avenue was of 'particular concern' as it is used by children going to school on bicycles, and parents with push chairs.
The council carried out the work around Bewsey Park Community Centre, including Troutbeck Avenue, Bagot Avenue, Delves Avenue and Haryngton Avenue.
Cllr Pat Wright (Bewsey - LAB) said: āIām absolutely delighted this has been completed and it will make a real difference to the area."
The resurfacing work is part of the wider 'Grey to Green' project which will see improvements at Dallam recreation ground and Bewsey Meadows, and highway improvements to Longshaw Street.
