YOUNGSTERS tried their hand at being nuclear workers as part of Sellafield’s exhibition at the Big Bang North West Fair.
The Birchwood Park Avenue company showed families how devices like the glovebox and remote handling machine are used.
Sellafield Ian Belger and Helen Fisher also acted as judges for the day, presenting the ‘North West Engineer of the Year’ award to Skipton Girls High School.
