COMPLAINTS have been made over the dog area at Orford Park with the railings branded 'wide and useless'.
The dog area allows owners to let their pets off the lead, supposedly not to bother other park users.
However, it has been claimed the railings are too big, meaning small dogs can escape.
On the Warrington Guardian Facebook page, Helen Newns said: "If we had dog parks where dogs can't escape from, dog owners wouldn't be worried about their dogs escaping.
"Orford Park dog park is not secure enough for smaller dogs as the railings are too wide and useless.
"Complaints have been made to Livewire."
