ONE of Warrington’s partnering towns is Hilden in Germany, and from October 18 to 25 members of Hilden youth council visited Warrington.
The week involved members of IMPACT, Warrington’s youth council and Hilden’s youth council actively taking part in workshops and visiting various places and landmarks around the country.
Workshops were held at the peace centre, the newly-refurbished Orford Youth Base, Choices Youth Base and other youth facilities in Warrington throughout the week.
It was a huge success on both a personal level, as many new friendships have been made and on a town level, as both groups have decided on creating a joint website in order to continue the work on making a stronger link between Warrington and Hilden.
