WARRINGTON has really gone all out this Christmas with Santa's grotto, Christmas carol singing at lunch times and the portable ice rink all in the Golden Square!
Even if you're a little old to be sitting on Santa's lap, you can have a good Christmas experience in Warrington.
The concept of having an ice skating rink in Warrington is fantastic, it provides a much- needed place for young people to hang out at the weekends and for £3.50 to hire skates for anyone under 16, and £5 for anyone over 16, the price is affordable.
I was surprised to find the ice skating rink was made from very high-density polyethylene (plastic) but it was still a good laugh.
So if you're about in town and have some free time on your hands, why not go and have a skate?
