School soccer success at Town

First published in News

WARRINGTON Town are heading back to school at the start of the new term.

The club worked in 14 schools last year and James Standing, community development officer, said he never expected it to be so successful.

He added: “The work we do in the community is really helping us to improve lifestyles through sport, which is our motto. Our wish is to see as many children as possible playing football and sport within the area so they benefit from a healthy upbringing.”

New Saturday Soccer Session for four to 12-year-olds began at the club’s Abacus Solicitors Community Stadium.
