DOGS are needed to work with police on operation.
Cheshire Police is appealing for breeders, suppliers and residents who are willing to allow dogs to be trained to work with police handlers.
Animals would not be donated on a permanent basis, only used when there is a shortage or a particular breed of dog is needed.
They would then be returned to the owner.
Police are looking particularly for German Shepherds and Mallinois’ breeds aged between one and two years old.
Dogs with confidence, friendly in nature and playful are preferred.
Anyone interested can call Mike Jones on 01606 362681. For more information on police dogs go to cheshire.police.uk.
