BRIAN Woods died on May 30, aged 61.
Mr Woods, from Appleton, lived in the Warrington area all his life.
He was employed as a lorry driver and had been a plumber.
He also served with the TA.
Mr Woods enjoyed F1 racing, TV documentaries and soaps, and diving in the North Sea. He loved socialising with friends and family.
Mr Woods leaves two sons and two granddaughters.
A service was held on June 16 at St Matthew’s Church, followed by cremation at Walton Lea.
The Rev Alan Jewell officiated.
