ANTHONY Austin Hardiman, husband of Deidre (Dee) Hardiman, died on July 6, aged 71.
Mr Hardiman, from Locking Stumps, formerly of Orford and Anfield, was born in Eastham, Wirral.
He was employed at Plesseys Liverpool, then Thames Board Mills, and worked for various contractors on BNFL site Risley.
Mr Hardiman played amateur football until his late 30s and was a lifelong Liverpool supporter.
He enjoyed walking holidays at home and abroad and had been a member of a gym for more than 30 years.
He had achieved the three peaks challenge for charity and loved reading.
Mr Hardiman leaves his wife, a son and three grandchildren.
A service was held on July 27 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation.
The Rev Neil Shaw officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
