ABRAM Hill, husband of the late Ethel Hill, died of pulmonary embolism, bronchial cancer and dementia on August 8, aged 93.
Mr Hill lived in the Warrington area all his life.
Mr Hill worked as a chargehand at Fleming’s Tannery and was later employed at Thames Board in Warrington.
During the Second World War he served as a dispatch rider in Singapore and India.
Mr Hill leaves a daughter, a grand-daughter and two great-grandchildren.
A service was held on August 21 at St Elphin’s Church, followed by cremation at Walton Lea.
Mr Geoffrey Dunn officiated.
Arrangements were made by Nagle Brothers.
