THOMAS Hadcroft, husband of Frances Hadcroft, died of dementure on August 1, aged 90.
Mr Hadcroft, of Ryfields Retirement Village, lived in the Warrington area all his life.
He was employed at J Crosfield & Son as a laboratory assistant for 40 years until retirement.
Mr Hadcroft was a regular worshipper and active member of St Benedict’s RC Church, organising Sunday Mass collections and bell ringing, and at a young age became an altar boy.
He enjoyed 1960s music, fishing with Warrington Anglers, and crown green bowling for Rylands and Warrington Pensioners Bowls League.
He also loved snooker, watercolour painting, walking his dog and holidays in the UK and abroad.
He leaves his wife, two daughters, a son, two grandsons and two granddaughters.
A service was held on August 19 at St Benedict’s RC Church, followed by cremation at Walton Lea.
The Rev Father Matthew Jolley officiated.
Arrangements were made by Mears and Jackson.
