Cairo St chapel to host WW1 service
CAIRO Street Chapel will host a commemorative service for the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
The service will honour members of the church who died during the war and the families of those men are invited along to the event, which takes place on Sunday, August 3.
The Cairo Street Chapel members are Stanley Chalmers Appleton, William Currington, Frank Arthur Deeley, Walter Eastens, James Davies Gibson, Frank Horsfall, Harry Jackson, Robert Parr Knowles, Benton Madeley, Peter Valentine Plinston, Albert Short, Frank Short, George William Smith and Edward Smith.
