The new Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian winners have been announced.

Tim Houghton, aged 24, from Padgate was crowned Mr Warrington Guardian at the final at Chicago Rock on Thursday night.

While Rachel Doodson, aged 19, from Penketh, won the Miss Warrington Guardian title.

Judges were left with the tough task of narrowing down the finalists before choosing the two winners.

They win a package of prizes from sponsors Daniel Anderson Hairdressing, Golden Square and the Park Royal Hotel.
