THE candidates have been confirmed to fight the General Election in Warrington's two seats.
In Warrington North, the candidates are as predicted.
Helen Jones will attempt to win the seat for the fourth successive time for Labour.
She will come under pressure from Paul Campbell, Conservative, and Lib Dem, Dave Eccles.
In the south, five candidates will stand.
It looks to be a three way battle to take over from Helen Southworth with Nick Bent representing Labour, David Mowat the Conservatives and Jo Crotty, Liberal Democrat.
For UKIP is James Ashington and Steph Davies, the Greens.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, May 6.
