Aldi stores to close early if England reach World Cup final
SUPERMARKET giant Aldi has announced it will shut its Warrington stores early on Sunday if England reach the World Cup final.
The budget store revealed the news ahead of Wednesday's semi final against Croatia.
A spokesman for Aldi said: "If England reach the World Cup Final - sorry, when England reach the World Cup Final - we're gonna close all our stores in England early at 3pm on Sunday, July 15.
"We want our colleagues to be the 12th man cheering on the lads."
The potential early closures will affect all of the town's stores including Stockton Heath and Birchwood.
