STAFF at a recruitment consultancy firm at Birchwood Park are celebrating after earning the first 'platinum accreditation' from an internationally recognised public body.

Evolution Recruitment Solutions is the only organisation to date to get the recognition against the Investors in People standard.

It takes into account the company's 'commitment to high performance through good people management and development'.

Established in 2000, Evolution provides permanent and contract recruitment solutions to the IT industry.

It has a 'growing global network' of offices, including established sites in Germany, Singapore and Australia.

And bosses are expecting projects to continue going from 'strength to strength'.

Evolution's UK and European managing director Gareth Morris said: "When we formed Evolution 16 years ago, one of our key goals was to create a company that values and invests in its employees.

"We've invested in our people year after year and this accreditation is testament to our people's hard work.

"With world class training and development facilities at the centre of the company's culture, we are perfectly placed to offer ambitious people a fantastic career.

"As an employer of over 135 people across the group, we're an exciting organisation to join and we are always looking for talented employees, from trainee to senior levels.

"I am extremely proud of all of our employees across Evolution and our engineering brand, Real Time Recruitment Solutions, for making this accreditation possible."

Investors in People provides the 'international standard' for people management and 'defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results'.

Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: "We'd like to congratulate Evolution Recruitment Solutions on being the first company to achieve the platinum Investors in People accreditation.

"This is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. Evolution Recruitment Solutions should be extremely proud of their achievement."
