MILLER Homes has been offering residents a helping hand from its Westbrook site through its 'part exchange' scheme.

The property development firm, which has its Barley Green base on Kingswood Road, offered home hunters support in recent months to ensure they could move into a property without selling their existing one.

It also confirmed it would pay for legal fees, as well as stamp duty, on selected plots.

The part exchange scheme allowed Miller to purchase 100 per cent of the value of the buyer's property based upon an independent Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors valuation, in a move tipped to 'provide a guaranteed buyer' and 'remove the hassle of selling'.

Samantha Johnson, associate director for Miller in the north west, said: "The part exchange scheme is ideal for those looking to move into a new home as it removes all the stress of selling an existing home."

The company, which has been building homes for 80 years, currently has more than ten developments across the north west featuring a range of properties.
