A GOLF buggy manufacturer in Birchwood has put itself ahead of the field following support from a web design agency.

Fairway Rider, based at Ravenhurst Court, received assistance from Thelwall-based Dreamscape to help give it a greater online presence with a new website.

The manufacturing firm, which markets the eco-friendly single seat G3 golf buggy, required a site which appealed to its older client base.

The three-wheeled electric G3 is targeted at less mobile golfers and can be folded and transported easily to support players who are not able to cover an 18-hole course on foot.

The new site now boasts an improved sales optimisation process to make it easier to use and navigate.

The site, which is optimised for tablet and mobile viewing, was built on a content management system, to enable Fairway Rider to make updates and changes when required.

Bernard McCabe, managing director of Dreamscape, said: "The Fairway Rider website needed to be easy to find, understood and liked by their target market, which meant it was important that our design concepts focused on hitting the right notes with senior golfers.

"To give you some idea, there are well over 700 UK searches per month made on Google for single seater golf buggies.

"The website was designed and developed to convert the highest possible number of visitors into enquiries or orders.

"Through our sales optimisation planning process, we identified that the website should clearly demonstrate the level of support and after sales service available to customers.

"This stimulates confidence in potential customers and also reduces internal support time."

Shaun Leatherbarrrow, from Fairway Rider, added: "The new website is clear, informative and demonstrates our commitment to customer service.

"The G3 is a high quality product and the website now reflects that."
