BIRCHWOOD based G&J Distillers, the second largest gin distiller in the world, is celebrating a record-breaking turnover forecast for 2015.
This year turnover is expected to rise to £66 million, an increase of 38 per cent from 2012 when it sat at £48 million.
Since 2009, G&J has increased its bottle production output from 54.5 to 63 million bottles per year, an increase of 15 per cent.
And these figures are expected to rise even further this year to a staggering 65 million bottles.
G&J Distillers has expanded its production team by 20 per cent to manage this additional output In November output hit a record high of 6.8 million bottles – nearly 385 per cent growth on the second strongest week of 2014 (1.4 million bottles).
